Alright in the honor of tv girl releasing their new album, let me tell you a song that makes me think of one of my favorite fics ever :)
This song is not from their new album, but I still thought it would mark the occasion!!
‘Heaven is a bedroom’ always makes me think of @saengak’s ‘flat spin heading out to sea’
I could rant for hours about this beautiful piece, but I’ll contain myself for now.
The whole song reminds me of flat spin, but I’ll include some that make me make some connections :)
This reminds of Ice and his sort of love-struck period with Maverick when they bond and even up to their trip to Ices parents house. He realized later that it was too good to be true and it was the closest he’d ever got to being somewhat like Mavericks lover
This lyric is very very important to me and actually made me make the connections in the first place!!! Ice is reflecting on how he should have held into Maverick just a bit harder and should have made it worth it, instead of being away from eachother, not even calling eachother for multiple years, their only connection being letters. He realizes he should have held on harder to the man he loves.
